Saab sells CSM Materialteknik to Bodycote
Saab has signed an agreement with Bodycote International plc and its Materials Testing Group regarding the transfer of shares in CSM Materialteknik AB and its subsidiary CSM NDT Certification AB. The move is subject to approval from the Swedish Competition Authority and will entail a minor capital gain.
“We see Bodycote as a well-suited buyer of CSM as one of its core business areas is advanced materials technology in both consulting and laboratory testing. This gives CSM the potential to go on developing positively, while the deal also enables Saab to continue streamlining and focusing its operation,” says Kent-Åke Jönsson, Saab Group Senior Vice President. CSM Materialteknik is a knowledge-based materials technology company, and has approximately 105 employees.
