Swedish Armed Forces sign contract with AerotechTelub for spare parts supply

As previously mentioned the Swedish Armed Forces had the intention to outsource the operation of spare parts supply in Arboga. Since there were no appeals against the previously announced contract decision, the Swedish Armed Forces through its Logistics organization (FMLOG) have now signed the agreement.

The outsourcing contract encompasses operation of the central warehouse in Arboga and the regional warehouses, as well as certain fuel sourcing functions within Armed Forces operations. The Swedish Armed Forces will continue to own and procure all reserve materiel. The initial stage affects some 50 personnel at the central warehouse in Arboga. The second stage of the contract will encompass further development of the regional warehouses as part of a logistical concept for supplying Swedish Armed Forces workshops and units, for instance. This second stage will affect at least as many personnel at over 10 of the Armed Forces’ operating locations. All personnel will be offered employment with AerotechTelub.
