Saab awarded service contract of the Canadian Navy’s Sea GIRAFFE 150 HC
Saab Microwave Canada Ltd has been awarded a service contract for support, repair and overhaul of the Canadian Navy’s Sea GIRAFFE 150 HC, a surveillance radar installed on the Halifax Class Frigates. The contract is worth approximately 16 MEURO.
Saab has been a service partner to the Canadian Navy since the early nineties. The contract received is a renewal and extension of previous service contracts, and will secure a high level of support for years to come.

The contract is worth approximately 16 MEURO and includes repair and overhaul of the Canadian Navy´s 14 Sea GIRAFFE 150 HC, during six years. Saab Microwave Canada will provide the Canadian Navy with individual radar component repairs, complete system overhauls and the associated technical support and management for these.
The fully owned Saab company, Saab Microwave Canada Ltd, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, provides support services for the Canadian Navy as well as support for future products from Saab in Canada.
