Saab presents preliminary pro forma financial historical information

On September 9 Saab presented a new operating and management structure that will be effective as of January 1, 2010. From that date, Saab will publish external financial reports according to the new structure. Preliminary pro forma financial historical information is presented in the enclosed document.

Formation of five business areas To ensure a competitive offering, Saab is restructuring its 15 business units, currently organized in three segments, into five business areas. Each business area is defined based on the products, solutions and services it provides and will assume responsibility for their respective order intake, income statement, financial position and cash flow. Today Saab will host an analyst and press meeting where further details will be provided on the changes in Saab’s organization. The meeting is hosted by CEO Åke Svensson, Lena Olving currently Head of the business segment Systems and Products and as of January 1, 2010, COO and CFO Lars Granlöf.
