Accounting Analyst

About the position

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join Saab Brasil and work with accounting activities, focusing on monthly closing, account reconciliations, accounting entries, financial analysis, and invoice control.

This position will also play an important role as a technical reference for the accounting team, supporting the team on a daily basis, sharing knowledge, and contributing to process improvement and standardization.

Main responsibilities

  • Perform and review monthly accounting closing activities, ensuring the quality and accuracy of financial information.
  • Perform accounting entries, including provisions, benefit allocations, and expense recognition.
  • Perform account reconciliations and analyze variations.
  • Prepare reports and analyses to support leadership.
  • Capture, register, and check material and service invoices and their accounting entries.
  • Validate tax and accounting information, such as CFOP, NCM, amounts, weights, and transfers between branches.
  • Control pending documents and resolve discrepancies related to invoices.
  • Work closely with the Controlling, Tax, and Inventory teams.
  • Support WIP (Work in Progress) calculation and follow-up of projects under development.
  • Analyze and reconcile accounts related to inventory, consumption, and production.
  • Support the accounting team by providing technical guidance and answering questions.
  • Contribute to process standardization and the technical development of the team.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting rules and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Solid experience in general accounting, monthly closing, reconciliations, and accounting analysis.
  • Experience with inventory control, work in progress, and interaction with Controlling.
  • Knowledge of BRGAAP and IFRS.
  • Knowledge of invoice classification, CFOP, NCM, and transactions between branches.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, TOTVS, or similar.
  • Advanced English, with the ability to participate in meetings and interact with international stakeholders.
  • Active CRC registration is desirable.

Nice to have

  • Experience with import processes and import documentation, customs clearance, DI/DUIMP, and accounting of import costs.
  • Previous experience providing technical guidance or support to other professionals.
