Your role
Business Unit Airborne Early Warning is responsible for the complete Airborne surveillance aircraft GlobalEye and the development of both hardware, software and system integration. This role is within the dept Mechanical & Structural Engineering which is responsible for the development of the mechanical design of the ERIEYE radar and has around 120 employees in various disciplines.
You will be part of a management team of 6, and report to the department manager. As an assistant to Head of Mechanical & Structural Engineering, you provide professional administrative and personal support with a high level of attention to details.
Your main responsibilities:
- Arranging conferences, administrating invitations and preparing agendas
- Gathering information, preparing material and documenting outcomes from workshops or similar activities
- Help the section managers with administrate tasks around recruiting including consultants, as well as being a part of onboarding of new employees
- Manage calendar and information flow for the Head of department
- Administrative tasks such as managing documentation, approvals and handling mailboxes
- Preparing, coordinating and managing VIP visits
- Detailed planning and booking of travels, including handling travel expenses
- When needed support Business Unit in various initiatives
There will also be opportunities to influence the job description depending on your skills and interests.
Personal qualities will be of great importance for this role and it is key that you are trustworthy with strong ethics and a high degree of understanding how to manage confidential information.
Last but not least, you need to have the ability to build an internal network with the other assistants in the organization.

- Experience in supporting management teams, where a high degree of confidentiality, initiative and maturity of judgement are required
- You have a great problem-solving attitude
- Service minded with a positive aura
- You are structured and enjoy working administrative
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
