Saab Business Area Surveillance executes a Logistic and Technical Support Contract included in the delivery of the Saab 2000 AEW&C system to Saudi Arabia in 2014.
Saab is assisting the customer as advisers in establishing a complete Aircraft Line & Base Maintenance facility and supporting their day to day flight operations.
The working hours is daytime and in some cases overtime depending on customer demands.
Some of the existing Ex-pat staff will reach the end of their contract in the beginning of 2026, therefore replacements is needed.
Your role
As a Maintenance Management Advisor / Site Manager, you’ll be a vital part of our. Contractor Support Team (CST), based in Al-Kharj / Riyadh, Saudi arabia. You’ll work alongside the maintenance staff, providing daily support for the customers special mission aircraft.
Your main tasks are to coordinate the onsite activities for the Saab 2000 AEW&C. The Maintenance Manager Leads the team and will assist RSAF by:
Acting as an advisor to RSAF for maintaining full Continued Airworthiness of the System.
Be responsible for staff planning and availability.
Act as an advisor for RSAF Maintenance organisation.
Advising the customer and supporting the CST technicians.
You will be stationed in Riyadh for 1-3 years employed and seconded by Saab AB as an Ex-patriat. Offering the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic international team dedicated to ensuring the lifespan and operational readiness of Saab’s special mission aircraft.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for a Maintenance Management Advisor / Site Manager with an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician background, ideally with Saab 2000 expertise. Knowledge of EASA Part 145 & CAMO regulations and strong English communication skills (ECL 70) are essential. You’ll share your expertise with the customer’s team, embracing diverse cultures with patience and a customer- focused approach. As a true team player, always focusing at the team results, whether the team is the customer or Saab as a company.
Good social and communication skills and experience of working in an international environment is also favorable.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
