Your role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Strategic Analyst to join a newly established team within Business Unit AEW. In this position you will play a key role in shaping the future direction for our organization by contributing to analysis, planning and execution of prioritized strategic initiatives.
As an analyst you will contribute to identifying, evaluating, coordinating and reporting of activities ensuring competitiveness today and relevance tomorrow in our offerings. You will work together with colleagues from internal stakeholder organization, cross-functionally within the Business Area and the broader Saab portfolio as well as external partners.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in Identification and conduct evaluations of potential industrial collaborations supporting our overall business objective
- Monitor market trends, competition and customer requirements as well as internal insights to identify new technological areas and opportunities
- Provide recommendations and analysis as basis for further evaluation of prospects
- Coordinate progress and information sharing of key ongoing initiatives
- Assure alignment, documentation and reporting in accordance with strategic process
- Contribute to and participate in planning and development of AEW Strategic Business plan
- Continuously learn about industry best practices and emerging trends to enhance our competitiveness
You will report to the Head of Strategy and Partnership and work in close collaboration with stakeholders across the business unit and the broader Saab organization. The role may involve occasional travel.
Your profile
You are a structured, communicative and analytical professional with a strong technical or business background, combined with a strategic mindset. You thrive in complex environments, dealing with multiple ongoing initiatives and a team player ready to dive into and explore new opportunities.
You likely bring:
- 5+ years of experience in the domain, preferably from similar roles
- Analytical ability and understanding of technology, market trends and Saab offerings
- Structured approach and dedication to provide basis for decision making
- Demonstrated ability to cooperate and maneuver complex challenges
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
