Saab Brasil Ltda. is seeking a skilled Assembler-2 to perform complex assembly operations, ensuring high-quality production of aerospace components.
Responsibilities:**
* Execute advanced mechanical assembly tasks according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
* Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for assembly and inspection.
* Perform in-process quality checks and inspections, identifying and resolving assembly discrepancies.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
* Document assembly processes, material usage, and quality data accurately.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes and reduce waste.
Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical assembly.
* Experience in complex assembly within a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or defense.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
* Demonstrated ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
* Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
* Fluent in Portuguese; proficiency in English is a plus.
