As an Asset Manager, you will contribute to the planning, analysis, and execution of asset management strategies, working closely with OEMs, subcontractors, and customers to ensure capability is sustained through the entire system lifecycle.
In this critical role, you’ll play a key role in the acquisition and sustainment of critical Security systems. You will have the opportunity to directly influence the sustainment of advanced Security systems, working in a highly skilled team where your expertise will make a measurable difference to operational outcomes.

The opportunity
As an Asset Manager within our Civil team, you will shape lifecycle and logistics engineering strategies to ensure peak operational availability of critical security systems. You will:
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver asset management activities across acquisition projects and lifecycle refresh programs.
- Develop and maintain Asset Management Plans, Lifecycle Models, and supporting documentation for current and future contracts.
- Manage obsolescence responsibilities, including analysis, customer communication, and costed corrective action planning.
- Conduct asset management and ILS analyses including:
- Reliability, Maintainability & Availability (RMA) modelling
- Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Maintenance task and spares analysis
- Asset condition assessment
- Provide input into contract scoping, project planning, system design, and implementation.
- Manage lifecycle budgets, forecasts, and reporting requirements.
- Liaise with OEMs and suppliers, reviewing technical publications and ILS documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO 9001, ISO 55001)
About you
You have an experience in logistics engineering, obsolescence management, and lifecycle sustainment of critical Security systems. You will have:
Experience & Skills:
- Strong background in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and associated analysis tools.
- Demonstrated understanding of system engineering, safety engineering, and configuration management.
- Experience in security industry standards and technologies.
- Familiarity with LSA and R&M analysis tools.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to liaise confidently with senior internal and external representatives.
Qualification and Clearance:
- Degree in Logistics Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 55001 standards and their application.

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
