You will be primarily based at Connaught Place office and will be required to visit Jhajjar from time to time.
In this position, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting and reporting in manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for Monthly and yearly closing. All the financial statement, monthly MIS and Adhoc reports as needed from time to time will be your responsibilities.
Your role as finance persona at Saab involves preparing and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Indian GAAP. You will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing processes.
You will handle end to end accounting for fixed assets and lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
I your role, you will coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits. Also ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
Your responsibilities will includes:
- Support to Accounts payable and receivable function including booking of invoices.
- Ensure TDS deduction as per provision of Income tax
- To ensure to claim the GST Input Tax Credit while booking invoices
- Experience in dealing with custom law compliance and dealing with custom authorities
- Identify process improvements and support implementation of financial systems and automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and HR.
- Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany reconciliations.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is CA/CWA Intermediate or Bachelor/master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Further experience we are looking for:
- You have proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.) and related financial modules.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IGAAP, IFRS), financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English, with the ability to present complex financial and technical concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- You should have minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and compliances.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is added advantage.
Experience working within the manufacturing sector is preferred, with an understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and production accounting.
We also expect that you will follow all the security processes and have a deep safety awareness and follow the company rules regarding these areas.
The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations and undergo a security vetting.
