Bid Coordinator

The role

As part of our Sales & Government Relations group, the Bid Centre Coordinator will provide bid coordination services as required to allocated bids, including supporting the generation of bid plans and schedules, book plans, collaboration site administration, support to authors and tender submission.  

Further, the successful candidate will:

  • As requested by the Business Domains, provide bid coordination services to specific opportunities
  • Provide the bid manager with insights on how a bid is proceeding, providing recommendations as required
  • Collate and maintain best practise bid guidance based on practical experience gained
  • Establish and maintain source material that supports efficient and high quality end deliverables, including exemplar deliverables, templates and style guides
  • Comply with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions, including those relating to non-discrimination, safety and duty of care and the quality management system
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office will be considered for this role.

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Business, Management, Science, Engineering discipline
  • Experience in delivering high quality, winning bids in the relevant domain
  • Experience with ASDEFCON tendering (for AU Defence tenders only)
  • Experience engaging and building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and partners
  • Strong acumen and experience with MS applications and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated personal communications (written and verbal) capability
  • Experience in the management of bids within Saab’s Winning Business Process (desirable)


As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance.
