Your role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Mission Systems & C2 organisation. In this role, you'll drive digital, data-driven solutions that create measurable business value and support our strategic objectives within the AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning & Control) domain. You'll be instrumental in developing future operational capabilities to meet growing customer demands while continuously improving our delivery performance.
While your primary focus will be within Mission Systems & C2, you'll collaborate across other areas of BU AEW & Surveillance. You’ll report to the Head of Project Management Office and join a diverse project office team with expertise spanning business and customer project execution.
Your main tasks are:
Develop automated workflows and AI solutions connected to the business area’s portfolio of tools and opportunities
To lead and implement BI solutions that are aligned with the organisational needs i.e., create business value by applying appropriate systems, methods and way of working that lead to actionable insights and progress.
Develop data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as QlikSense and SQL
Participate in workshops and stakeholder meetings to understand business needs and provide input on process and digital development
To be a source of business knowledge and inspiration for organisation related to business intelligence and digitalization.

You have a problem-solving attitude, meaning that you are solution oriented with a strong analytical mind combined with interpersonal skills and have a “can do” attitude. Big data is your best friend, and you base your way forward on clear rationale that is visualized in a professional way. You have a great tech interest and truly believe that digitization can increase efficiency and reduce cost. Your daily work requires excellent communication skills, since you will be facing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders that want your results. Your default is “openness to learn” which means that you are constantly curious to develop yourself and your surrounding through new influences and new business understanding.
To qualify for the role, you have:
Proven experience in AI development - RAG models, data structures, etc.
Proven experience in Business automation/orchestration tools (e.g. Camunda)
Basic experience in programming languages, e.g. Python
Basic experience in using BI tools such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, MS Power BI etc.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
Proven presentation skills (verbal and written), meaning that you know how to deliver a message in a business manner to get your message through to different types of stakeholders.
High proficiency in spoken and written English
It is meritorious if you also have:
Experience from working with ERP systems (preferably IFS).
Knowledge of Machine Learning and simulation techniques
An understanding for BI/data architecture and the rationale behind the setup of a data warehouse/lakehouse.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
