Your role:
As a Business Controller at Saab Deutschland, you will play a key role and work with overall financial planning and reporting. Your goal is to generate a measurable positive business impact, drive the financial planning process and provide early indicators and financial analysis to senior management. You will act as a sparring partner for management, challenging assumptions and supporting strategic decisions.
Your main responsibilities are:
Coordinate and manage the monthly closing, forecast and budget process on cost center level, ensuring quality, timeliness and compliance with Saab standards
monthly reporting
Forecast and budget reporting on cost center level and proactively suggest improvement measures
Perform in‑depth financial analysis for actuals, forecast and budget, incl. margin, cost and capital efficiency analyses
Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to support management decisions and strategic initiatives
Driving efficiency initiatives (capital efficiency, margin improvement, cost optimizations) together with the business
Your profile:
We believe you possess strong business acumen and strategic awareness, complemented by extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting and reporting. You bring several years of professional experience in business controlling and are used to interacting with senior stakeholders and taking ownership for your area.
Degree in business administration, finance, controlling or a related field
Several years of experience in business control/controlling, ideally in an international environment
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, high attention to detail and a solution‑oriented mindset
You value honesty, integrity and fairness and build strong relationships within and across functions
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, enabling you to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels
