Job Description:
Saab Inc.’s Supply Chain team is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Co-Op/Intern to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. This is a full-time, paid internship (40 hours/week) based in Saab’s Syracuse, NY office for Summer 2026 (May - August).
As a Supply Chain Co-op/Intern for Saab, you will:
Support a cross-functional team in improving the accuracy of the approved supplier list.
Assist in preparing and distributing material requisition reports.
Obtain accurate lead times for purchased parts from suppliers and update item master records accordingly.
Help ensure documentation complies with our approved Certified Purchasing System Requirements system.
Assist in generating commodity category strategies.
Complete special projects and perform ad hoc tasks as needed.
Compensation Range: $18 - $20/hour
In addition to a competitive hourly rate, Saab Inc. offers a sign-on bonus to help offset housing expenses for Co-ops who reside outside of the typical commuting distance.
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. Skills and Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Enrollment in an accredited degree program with a major in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Completion of Sophomore year or above.
Proactive, organized, and analytical with high attention to detail.
Experience working in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Citizenship Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
