Your role
As an experienced Communication Manager with a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, you will be working with strategic and tactical communication within Saab´s business area Surveillance. Your knowledge and energy will make an impact and add value to our growth journey.
You will be part of our communications team with a mission to support Saab´s business plan through delivering word class communication.
We work closely with colleagues globally within and across business areas and in close collaboration with other teams within Group Communications; Internal Communication, Press, Editorial and Brand.
Your responsibilities includes:
- Contributing to developing our business through leading and driving communication
- To continuously plan, produce and publish content
- Evaluate communication efforts and find new ways to convey messages
- Motivate and drive others to improve their communication skills as a part of our growth journey
- Collaborate with agencies and other external stakeholders
Your profile
We are looking for a true team player with a strategic mindset and a strong operational drive, someone who views communication as a critical lever for delivering marketing and business results. You should be an innovative, solution-oriented communicator, able to blend creative marketing approaches with effective communication strategies.
With your experience, you will feel confident in driving communication projects that support Saab's broader goals, from tactical execution to strategic direction. You excel at prioritizing tasks and collaborating across departments to make sure communication supports Saab’s vision.
You have a proven ability to network and foster relationships both internally and externally, managing both marketing and communication efforts with a strong sense of responsibility.
You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both written and verbal, and have a background that includes relevant academic credentials or equivalent experience in marketing, media, PR, or communications. Your experience spans several years in communication, with a particular focus on integrating marketing and communication efforts for maximum impact. A strong interest in the defense industry and its products will complement your passion for making a difference in this critical sector.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
