The opportunity
Saab is an industry participant in the Combat Systems Integration – Integrated Project Team (CSI-IPT) Collaboration Agreement or CCA. The CSI-IPT CCA collaborative enterprise executes scopes of work across the Hobart Class Destroyer (SEA4000 Phase 6 and other related Destroyer Capability Enhancement (DCE) upgrades) and the Hunter Class Frigates (HCFs - SEA5000 Phase 1). This will see independently executed programs such as SEA4000 Phase 6 and SEA5000 Phase 1 brought under one umbrella enterprise organisation, the CSI-IPT.
With personnel from three industry participants and the Commonwealth of Australia, the CSI-IPT will run multiple programs across different platforms.
The role
The CSI-IPT Business Analyst will play a crucial role in understanding our organisation's business needs, analysing processes, preparing business cases for selecting IT tools and providing valuable insights to drive effective decision-making.
Further, the successful candidate will:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for IT tools.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis sessions.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that the resulting solutions meet those needs.
- Development of Business Cases to support and justify IT Tool selection.
- Develop project plans and timelines, create and maintain project documentation.
- Manage relationships internally within the CSI-IPT team and externally with partner organisations.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- 3+ years as a business analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with business process modelling and analysis techniques.
- Understanding of how good processes are constructed and the benefits they bring.
- A wide range of information technology and information management services and systems (desirable).
- Knowledge of Cloud based IT infrastructures (desirable).
Applicants will need to hold an AGSVA baseline or preferably NV1 clearance.
