Leading Business Area Naval into the Next Era of Operations Transformation

Your role
The role is responsible for the overall transformation agenda within the BA Naval – which includes operating model, processes, organization, and ways of working – and works closely with the CIO. Together, you will ensure that digitalization and business development go hand in hand.
We are looking for a strategic and transformation-driven leader who will play a central role in accelerating transformation within BA Naval.
As the leader of the Transformation Office, you will act as a catalyst for change and bring together strategically important initiatives across areas such as operations transformation, digital development, AI, data, automation and business development. You will drive the Business Area’s shared transformation agenda in close collaboration with the COO, CIO and Business Units.
You will set the direction and priorities for the transformation of operations, security, quality/sustainability, and strategic procurement – and, together with the CIO, ensure that AI, data, and digitalization are leveraged as enablers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting the direction and prioritizing transformation initiatives in alignment with the business plan and operations strategy
- Driving the transformation of operations – from the operating model and processes to organization and capabilities
- Identifying and scaling initiatives with the greatest impact on productivity, quality, delivery capability, and resilience
- Supporting Business Units in their journey toward more digital and autonomous products, and ensuring that the transformation actually takes place within the business – with the CIO organization acting as the coordinating enabler for the underlying technology development
- Ensuring that business processes, ways of working, and organizational structures actually evolve in step with technological development – and identifying bottlenecks and processes that hinder transformation
- Together with the CIO, and using existing governance models, ensuring that technology and digitalization are integrated into business development and create measurable value
- Building a strong transformation culture in which people, processes, organization, and technology develop together
Your profile
You are an experienced leader with a proven track record of driving complex business transformation in large organizations. You combine strategic perspective, a strong understanding of operations and business, execution capability, technological understanding, and change leadership.
You build trust at all levels and thrive at the intersection of strategy, operations, and transformation.
You have:
- A relevant university degree or equivalent experience in digital and organizational transformation
- Experience leading transformation
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
