We are seeking an Embedded Linux Specialist to strengthen our platform software team. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle—from board bring‑up and BSP to userspace services and secure update infrastructure—delivering robust, flight‑ready software for unmanned systems.
Your job will include:
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux-based platform software across kernel/BSP and user space.
- Elicit, analyze, and define architectural requirements with key stakeholders.
- Architect, document, and evolve a modular software architecture and interfaces.
- Drive simulation and verification (SIL/HIL), test automation, and CI/CD for cross-compilation and reproducible builds.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to integrate embedded software with hardware, sensors, and mission systems.
The position is based in our new facilities in Solna.
Your Profile
We are seeking a hands-on engineer who combines deep embedded Linux expertise with a collaborative mindset and a curiosity for new technology.
Desired qualifications:
- A master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with experience in developing autonomous systems being beneficial.
- At least 5 years of Linux development experience for products in robotics, edge, or embedded systems, along with a strong background in kernel and BSP topics.
- Hands-on experience with Linux distribution engineering, cross-compilation toolchains, and system services is also required.
Meritorious experience:
- Hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) and field testing; telemetry and log analysis.
- Documentation and architectural practices (UML), design patterns, and modularization; mentoring junior engineers.
- Familiarity with Agile systems development practices.
- Experience in drone development and applications
