Your role
You will in the role of manager lead and develop both the people and the ways-of-working. You and your employees will drive the work to secure that the systems we deliver will be correctly structured and configuration managed.
You will be a member of the Systems management team within Naval Combat Systems Design. In the department there is two Configuration Management sections, one located in Solna and one in Järfälla, and this position is responsible for the Järfälla-based section. You will work in close collaboration with the other Configuration Management manager, ensuring alignment, shared ways-of-working and a strong overall capability across both sections.
Here you get the chance to contribute to developing the world's leading combat management systems. Our products are used on marine platforms (ships and boats, above and below the water surface) and the products have the task of compiling information from sensors, data links and weapon systems in order to give the operator the best opportunity to make the right decision. We deliver to customers both in Sweden and abroad.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Develop and care for your employees
- Close interaction with other managers and project managers
- Actively work with the competence build to meet short and long-term needs
- Responsibility for line budget
You will have the opportunity to develop these areas to stand strong regarding near-future needs. To take an active role in creating and implementing the roadmap of ways-of-working will be important for our success. In the future, we have to be equally strong in our working methods in both the software- and hardware development.
Your profile
We are looking for a person who is interested in the area of Configuration Management. Key success factors will be to lead and motivate the team with focus on delivery on time, transparency and good communication throughout the whole organisation.
Your leadership skills in combination with a structured way of working will make you successful in this role. You will have to collaborate with many and develope a large network of contacts within the organisation. We also believe that you have an analytical side in order to best understand the organisation needs and to make well-founded decisions.
Required skills:
- Experience in leading people
- Communication and collarboration skills
- Relevant technical academic degree
- Proficiency in Swedish and English
Desired skills:
- Background within Configuration Management
- Experience in the field of defense
- Experience in change management
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
