Do you have a strong interest in contributing to complex combat system development and working alongside the best in the industry to deliver capability to the navy?
Due to growth in our Naval Combat Systems division, we seek expressions of interest from:
- Support Engineers
- Systems Safety Engineers
- Verification and Validation Engineers
- Systems Engineers.
Certain roles will be required to be in Adelaide; others will have the option of being in Adelaide or Melbourne.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and/or a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- A tertiary qualification in a related engineering discipline (e.g. computer science, electrical/electronic, etc) or equivalent experience
- Five plus years of systems engineering (e.g. requirements management, system architecture, systems integration, and/or verification and validation), preferably within an ASDEFCON context
- Working in complex defence industry engineering programmes (desirable)
- Shipbuilding and/or combat systems programs (desirable)
- Conduct and/or participation in mandatory design reviews (e.g. SRR, PDR, CDR) and working groups
- Managing internal and external stakeholders, including the customer
- Advanced writing, verbal and listening skills, with the ability to work with others in a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other tools such as DOORS.
