Your role

Are you a driven and structured individual who enjoys bringing people together and driving progress in an international environment? This could be your next step!

We are looking for a Junior EU Consortium Coordinator to support European research projects funded by the European Defence Fund. In this role, you will work closely with the lead Project Manager, coordinating activities across international consortium partners, facilitating communication, ensuring alignment among stakeholders, and driving projects forward in line with timelines and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities and communication between international consortium partners, including meetings, workshops, and project follow-ups
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
  • Support reporting and documentation, including progress and financial follow-ups
  • Contribute to a structured and collaborative project environment
  • Provide administrative and logistical support, including event planning

The position is based at our new office in Solna and involves international travel as an integral part of the role, attending project meetings, workshops, and consortium events across Europe.

Your profile

We are looking for an energetic and proactive individual with a structured approach to coordinating complex projects. You are well-spoken, diplomatic, and thrive in multicultural environments. Familiarity with EU research policies, funding programmes, and project management tools is an advantage. What matters most to us is your mindset, curiosity, and willingness to take initiative – experience can grow with the role.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of additional European languages is an asset)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Project Management, or European Studies
  • 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in international or EU-funded research projects
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across Europe

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
