We are looking for a skilled and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Head of Business Area (BA) Aeronautics. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where we value teamwork and collaboration, this could be your next step.
Your role
As Executive Assistant, you will be a trusted partner to the Head of BA Aeronautics and a central point of coordination within the BA management team. You will ensure smooth daily operations, support administrative development across the business area, and help maintain strong communication flows. You will work in an organisation experiencing significant growth and transformation, where adaptability and a positive mindset are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing daily support to the Head of BA Aeronautics – planning, prioritising, and following up on key tasks and activities
- Managing calendars, travel arrangements, correspondence, and administrative processes
- Coordinating leadership team meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, and minute-taking
- Acting as a liaison between senior leadership, internal stakeholders, as well as external partners and suppliers
- Coordinating effectively across the wider company, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment with senior administrative colleagues within the Saab Group
- Providing occasional administrative support to the Deputy Head of BA
- Leading and developing the BA’s administrators’ network, driving efficiency and modern ways of working to strengthen collaboration and administrative excellence
- Planning and delivering selected employee-appreciation initiatives and events, contributing to a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace culture

You are a structured, service-minded professional with excellent communication skills and a natural sense of discretion. You enjoy influencing ways of working, building strong internal networks, and helping to create a workplace where people feel supported and valued.
We believe you have:
- Relevant education in business administration, communication, or a related field
- Several years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar senior administrative role within a large corporate environment
- Excellent organisational skills, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting
- A proactive approach and strong ability to handle change
- Excellent command of both English and Swedish, spoken and written
- High digital literacy and proficiency in Microsoft 365 and modern collaboration tools
- Interested in and/or experienced in using AI tools and technology to streamline processes
- Strong integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism
- An interest in employee engagement and fostering a positive team culture
Some national and international travel will be required, as well as a driver’s license.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
