The Role

Do you want to make a difference in keeping people and society safe? As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for overseeing entire financial control including budgeting, planning, reporting, forecasting. You are expected to take a lead in establishing finance to support growth of our company. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the internal financial policies and local standards. You will cooperate closely with Management Board by providing financial advice and analyses to support decision making process. At Saab Technologies Poland we offer opportunities for individual growth, training, and development. This role provides pathway toward the CFO position.

Your main place of work will be company’s HQ in Warsaw (city centre).
Fluent Polish language is required for this position.

As English is our corporate language, so high level of proficiency is mandatory.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of budgeting and forecasting processes on a continuous basis,

  • Supervise cash flow and cost structure,

  • Review and validate incoming invoices, expense reports and other financial documents,

  • Manage banking transactions, payments, and financial documentation,

  • Communicate and prepare monthly financial reports to mother company,

  • Create ad hoc analyses, financial reports and presentations,

  • Participate in strategic planning and provide recommendations to meet financial targets,

  • Cooperate with external vendors including accounting,

  • Participate in negotiations with service providers.

Your Profile

  • Higher education in Finance, Economics or in a related field,

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience with an emphasis on financial controlling,

  • Solid background in controlling, financial reporting and data analysis,

  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial processes and policies,

  • Practical experience with reporting and accounting,

  • Familiarization with tax regulations.

  • Personal Security Clearance is required, so you will need to apply for one if you do not already hold it.

This position requires that you will be approved in a security vetting in accordance to ISO:27001

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and a structured approach to work,

  • Able to work independently with a strong personal drive,

  • Business and financial acumen,

  • High level of commitment and growth mindset,

  • Strong organizational and time management skills,

  • Fluent Polish language,

  • Proficiency in English language (spoken and written) to effectively collaborate in an international environment
