We are now looking for a Future Business Model Specialist to join the Digital Strategy & Acceleration team within Group Digitalisation and help shape new business models across Saab. Your role
You will be part of a team operating at the group level across the full product portfolio at Saab, to further the development of Saab's overarching digital strategy, supporting its execution to ensure the necessary direction, pace, and coordination across various initiatives and teams.
You will drive the evolvement and implementation of new business models across Saab that enable continuous value delivery and software-defined products, working together with Business Units and Group Functions.
Concretely, your responsibilities will be:
- Teaming up with business developers in BUs to help them navigate the option space of different business model archetypes and shape the commercial offering of a new product.
- Contributing in early customer dialogue together with the BU.
- Extracting and feeding back learnings to further evolve the future business model playbook on the Saab Group level.
- Identifying and initiating transformation activities executed in Group Functions required to fully scale use of new business models.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and commercial curiosity who is excited about the prospect of shaping the future commercial model of Saab. You are able to influence without authority and are comfortable with ambiguity. You have experience from a customer-facing context, ideally in the defence sector. You are comfortable navigating between different teams and contexts in your role as an expert and are able to challenge perspectives in a constructive manner.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a commercial business development role, ideally in the defence industry.
- Practical proven experience from launching new products, including business model design and shaping the commercial offer.
- Experience designing subscription-based business models & launching software-based products is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
