We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Hardware Product Coordinator to support the delivery of cutting-edge hardware products within a complex engineering and manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will play a critical role in coordinating build events, managing hardware data, and ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams
We work in a fast-paced, demanding, challenging as well as time sensitive environment; we’re diverse, global, resilient, adaptable and agile, therefore the ability to solve problems is critical.
This position also offers Flexible working options and a 9 Day Fortnight.
The opportunity
Key responsibilities:
- Manage Engineering Bills of Materials (BOM), including data collection, part changes, and audit preparation.
- Process hardware data through to purchase requisitions and secure purchasing approvals.
- Collaborate with Hardware Engineers and Procurement to ensure parts and equipment information is complete and on track.
- Oversee inventory management and preparation for internal and external build events.
- Create and compile manufacturing data to complement engineering documentation.
- Maintain configuration control of hardware from design through deployment.
- Track and manage configuration changes across training rooms and deployed systems.
- Support technicians in executing upgrades and baseline changes in line with schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and legislative requirements.
About you
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in a similar coordination, manufacturing or engineering support role
- Strong background in a production or engineering environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data
- Proven experience with procurement and inventory management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Process-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Skilled in managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Manufacturing qualifications
- Experience supporting Defence or complex engineering programs
- NV1 Defence Clearance.
