Your Role
As Head of Finance Systems & Digitalisation, you will be responsible for defining and delivering Saab's finance technology strategy, ensuring our finance organisation has the systems, data and digital capabilities needed to support informed decision-making and operational excellence.
You will lead a team of specialists responsible for both the maintenance of existing finance systems and the development of future capabilities, including automation and AI-enabled solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of 15 finance systems professionals
- Defining and executing Saab's finance systems and digitalisation roadmap
- Driving automation across core finance processes, including reporting, financial close, Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Acting as the strategic link between Finance, IT and Data & Analytics functions
- Identifying, evaluating and implementing new technologies that enhance business performance
- Driving the adoption of AI and advanced analytics within the finance organisation
- Managing the finance systems portfolio and associated investment budget
- Ensuring finance systems effectively support Saab's global operations and growth ambitions
This is a senior leadership role with global scope, significant influence and the opportunity to shape the future of finance at Saab.
Your Profile
We are looking for a commercially minded leader with a strong combination of finance expertise, technology understanding and change leadership experience.
Experience and Background
You will bring:
- A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience within finance
- Proven experience leading finance systems, digital transformation or finance technology initiatives
- A successful track record of bridging finance and technology functions
- Experience driving process improvement, automation and organisational change
- Previous leadership experience, including managing and developing larger teams
- Strong understanding of finance operating models and business processes
Technical Expertise
You have experience with:
- Financial reporting and performance management
- Period-end close and consolidation processes
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations
- Enterprise finance platforms such as Agresso, SAP, Oracle or similar systems
- Automation and reconciliation solutions, such as BlackLine
- Consolidation and financial management tools, including HFM or comparable platforms
- Business intelligence and reporting tools, such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik
- Emerging AI and machine learning applications within finance

Education
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA or equivalent are considered advantageous.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
