Your role

We are looking for a Head of Group Financial & Sustainability Reporting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and consolidating financial information for the group's companies and units, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles, and leading the financial and sustainability reporting processes. You will lead a team of specialists and work closely with the business, tax, internal control and audit partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Group Accounting: Coordinate and consolidate financial information for the group's companies and units.
  • Regulations and Standards: Ensure that accounting follows IFRS or other relevant accounting principles. Provide support and requirements to units and companies on accounting and reporting matters.
  • Financial and Sustainability Reporting: Ensure accurate and purposeful financial and sustainability reporting according to external and internal reporting requirements and needs.
  • Audit and Control: Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and ensure that audits are conducted efficiently and correctly.
  • Systems and Processes: Drive process and system improvements for efficient and high-quality reporting and closings

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead the Reporting Function: Lead and coach the Group Reporting team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other finance/controlling functions at the group level, business areas, subsidiaries, Investor Relations, accounting services, treasury, and legal departments.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a large, international organisation.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial and sustainability reporting.
  • Experience with audit processes and external auditors.
  • Familiarity with consolidated reporting systems.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
