Your role
Logistics is a key function within Production FCC Järfälla, responsible for ensuring an efficient and reliable material flow from receipt and inspection through storage and material availability. The organization plays a vital role in enabling Manufacturing to deliver products on time and with the required quality.
As Head of Logistics, you will lead a management team responsible for Storage & Material Handling and Inspection. The role focuses on developing high-performing teams, driving cross-functional collaboration, and continuously improving logistics processes to increase efficiency, quality, and delivery precision.
Since the organization is a cornerstone for efficient material flow within production, the role includes extensive interaction with internal stakeholders across multiple functions. Strong communication and collaboration skills are therefore essential for success.
Given the size of the organization, a key part of the role is to lead through influence and drive cross-functional change initiatives across Production to improve overall operational performance.
Your responsibilities in short:
- Translating Saab, Surveillance and Production FCC Järfälla strategies into clear and well-communicated targets for your organization.
- Leading according to Saab’s organizational values.
- Full responsibility for results within your area, including safety and health, quality, delivery capacity, efficiency and finance.
- Coaching and developing capabilities and competencies within your organization, enabling employees and managers to take on increasingly complex and demanding tasks.
- Empowering your employees through value-driven leadership.
- Developing efficient ways of working within Logistics, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvements.
- Accountable for material availability in the short, medium and long term to support production plans and secure delivery performance.
- Ensuring efficient processes for goods receipt, inspection, storage, inventory management and internal material handling.
- Driving improvements in material flow, inventory accuracy and warehouse performance.

Required skills:
- Master of Science in Engineering, logistics, other adequate educational or equal working experience.
- Minimum three years of leadership experience within a relevant area, e.g. project management, team leading or line management.
- Proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging the organisation, management teams and employees
- Skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions
- Strong business understanding and customer focus
- Skilled communicator with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Experiences from ERP-systems (such as IFS).
- Excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English
