Your role
As Head of Project Management Office (PMO) and Center of Excellence Change Management (CoE CM) you will manage a new line function aimed to support BA Kockums with project management, change management and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) facilitation. The PMO manages a portfolio of improvement projects primarily on a Business Area level, characterized as strategical, cross-functional or Saab company-wide. Another central part is to support BA Kockums with VSM facilitation. The Center Of Excellence (COE) Change Management functions as a traditional COE that shares best practices, methodologies and standards within the discipline Change Management.
The placement for this position is initially in Malmö. In Q4 2025, we will move to new premises in Lund.
Your profile
You will report directly to Head of Operational Excellence (OPEX) and this position will require you to:
- Build, mentor, and act as a line manager for a dynamic team of Project Managers and Change Managers. You shall foster a culture of open communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with BA Kockums management to align improvement projects with strategic objectives to overcome challenges and propel BA Kockums towards sustained growth, operational excellence and qualitative change management.
- Ensure that this function also support BA Kockums with value stream mappings and change management by supporting with flow facilitators and change managers.
- Oversee and guide the OPEX project portfolio, ensuring most efficient use of resources for business-driven improvements and employee involvement and buy-in at every stage.
We are looking for an accomplished leader with:
- Proven PMO and Project Management Expertise: Practical experience in managing change projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring and the ability to guide and motivate teams during changes.
- Leadership Acumen: A track record of people management and change management with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams. You are an excellent communicator and coach, skilled at inspiring and motivating teams. You are passionate about empowering people and believe in the strength of collective intelligence.
- Innovative and Results-Driven: A proactive, goal-oriented approach with a high level of integrity and self-awareness. Understanding of the business environment and how changes impact the organization.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
