Your role
As Head of Sales Support, you will lead a diverse and high-performing team providing critical support in our global Marketing and Sales efforts. You will act in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment at the heart of our global Gripen sales efforts working closely with senior leaders, key customers, and industrial partners worldwide.
Your responsibility spans three main areas:
- Industrial Cooperation – Engaging and collaborating with external companies and authorities in countries seeking industrial partnerships in connection with our major international marketing and sales campaigns for Gripen.
- Bid Center – Managing a professional bid production function, ensuring that our proposals are of the highest quality and delivered on time.
- Events Coordination – Managing the coordination of staff and campaign participation at exhibitions, air shows and other events for Gripen.
In this position, you will also drive the development and continuous improvement of processes, methods, and tools for your functions.
Your profile
We are looking for a driven and hands-on leader who thrives in a complex international business environment. You combine strategic thinking with operational execution and you inspire collaboration across organisational and cultural boundaries. We see that you have a relevant education on a university level. Personal qualities will be given significant consideration.
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
- Are fluent in English and Swedish (additional languages are an advantage).
- Proven leadership experience with responsibility for staff and results
- Strong collaborative and communication skills, with the ability to engage both internal stakeholders and external partners
- Experience of working with large, complex business deals, preferably in an international setting
- Excellent organisational skills and a structured, proactive way of working
- A “doer” mindset – you take initiative and ensure that things get done
- Curiosity and openness to technological development, with an interest in applying AI-based tools and methods
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
