Your role
Shape the future direction of one of the most advanced C5ISR businesses in the industry. As Head of Strategy & Partnerships, you will operate at the intersection of market insight, customer need, and technology innovation, turning long-range opportunities into concrete growth paths. The role offers direct influence on the Business Unit's roadmap, and the opportunity to work across domains, partners, and customers at the highest levels.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead the Business Unit's strategic planning, ensuring alignment with Group direction and market opportunities.
- Own strategic business development for long-lead opportunities (e.g., NATO/FMNs).
- Lead and develop a small team, providing clear guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of objectives.
- Conduct competitive analysis and strategic foresight to inform product and platform roadmaps.
- Manage the Business Unit's partner ecosystem, including primes, tech providers, and research institutions.
- Shape early-stage platform opportunities in collaboration with Future Battlespace and Core Development.
- Work with Domain Units to identify and shape future customer needs before formal tenders.
- Ensure that the Business Unit's strategy is clearly communicated internally and externally.
- Represent the Business Unit in strategic forums, Group initiatives, and industry collaborations.
- Contribute to Portfolio Review, bringing insight and partnership opportunities.
Your profile
- Strong background in strategy, business development, or partnerships in defence or complex systems.
- Experience in shaping large-scale opportunities and influencing at senior stakeholder level.
- Ability to translate market and partner insights into actionable plans.
- Skilled communicator and relationship builder across cultures and organisations.
- Fluency in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Experience within the defence industry ecosystem, especially collaborating with defence agencies and military authorities worldwide, is highly valued.
