ILS Engineer

Our team of ILS Engineers support System Designers and Architects to ensure our communications systems are designed also with regard to key performance indicators such as Life Cycle Cost and Operational Availability.

In our daily work, we use both our knowledge of material composition, environmental impact, data, and statistical analysis to calculate and evaluate the Operational Availability and Life Cycle Cost of our systems.

Your role

As our new ILS Engineer, with focus on Logistics Support Analysis and LSA data you will together with your colleagues be responsible for tasks such as:

  • Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)

  • Analyses of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability (RAMT)

  • Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis (RCM-A)

  • Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)

  • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)

  • Spares Analysis (SPA)

  • Support and Test Equipment Analysis (STEA)

  • Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCC-A)

  • Identification and generation of data required for LSA as well as management of data resulting from LSA

In addition, you will work with and contribute to the following topics:

  • Data and Configuration Management to ensure quality master data

  • Requirement analysis in order to meet the contractual obligations

  • Development of processes and methods

  • ILS Plans

Your profile

Whether you are a newly graduated engineer or an experienced professional is not a matter as long as you have the appetite to learn a new trade within the field of ILS. This requires mathematical knowledge together with analytical skills and critical thinking. In addition, knowledge of physics and chemistry for material composition is also a valuable background.

We work as a team to solve the technical challenges; therefore, it is of essence that you have appropriate technical qualifications and you work structured and methodically.

We are in a global environment and therefore look for candi­dates who are good communicators and who like to interact with stakeholders and speak and write English.

Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have had residency within NATO/EU for the last 7 years.
