Job Description:
Saab, Inc. is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Project Manager to join our Integrated Logistics Support Team to work in a dynamic and multidimensional environment. The candidate will create, evaluate, modify, refine, and implement system support and maintenance concepts/plans to support evolving systems in order to support hardware and software development and sustainment. The ILS Project Manager will also provide broad supportability analysis of field data and recommend system support modifications to improve system reliability and longevity, such as through an effective obsolescence management program. ILS Project Managers work closely with project and program leadership, engineering leadership and teams throughout Saab, Inc. Travel may be required, both domestic and international. Positions can be remote home office, but location in the Syracuse, New York area is preferrable.
Responsibilities include:
Performing as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager for key program(s) including proposal activities and Earned Value Management.
Leading multiple ILS programs of moderate scope for design & development.
Leading effective engagement in customer interface; ability to effectively present results/content to internal and external customers in technical and program reviews.
Performing Product Support analysis (PSA) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) in support of Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA).
Planning and executing meetings with customers to include Provisioning Guidance Conferences, Provisioning Conferences, and LORA Guidance Conferences, as an example.
Providing Provisioning Support for procurement and cataloging of equipment parts required to sustain systems.
Configuring Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) to meet customer demands.
Planning and coordinate technical manual requirements.
Compensation Range: $99,100 - $128,800
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Skills and Experience:
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in an engineering, business or related discipline 10+ years experience OR MA/MS degree in an engineering, business or related discipline 8+ years experience OR 14+ years of military or aerospace experience.
Experience with techniques and tools to define, quantify and analyze supportability issues across multiple ILS elements.
Experience with the development of system maintenance concepts and life cycle support plans.
Proven knowledge/experience working with electronic systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the use of SLICwave supportability analysis.
Demonstrated communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
Team working skills to coordinate needs within an open, multi-tasking environment in an engineering development setting.
Ability to communicate, work and manage customer and subcontractor relationships to meet requirements and coordinate opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to direct and influence ILS teams for program/project success, and drive to results.
Demonstrated ability to execute across the entire product life cycle.
