Integration & Test Engineer

Job Description:

Saab’s Surveillance division (Syracuse, NY) is seeking a motivated Integration and Test Engineer. Under the guidance of Senior Engineers, the successful candidate will:

  • Execute software and/or hardware testing at various levels of the build process (e.g. unit, subsystem, and system).

  • Support integration activities, troubleshooting and regression testing.

  • Participate in engineering dry runs and formal test events with customer participation.

  • Identify, generate and validate test tools as necessary.

  • Develop integration & test plans and procedures and supporting test scripts.

  • Write test reports documenting the results of formal test events.

  • Analyze requirements and develop verification strategies for those requirements.

Compensation Range: $75,800-$94,800

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline is required.

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical/engineering/production environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across disciplines and organizations.

  • Familiarity with LabView, TestStand

Citizenship Requirements:
