Your role

As the Group Manager for System Design Operational Analysis and Human Factors, you'll lead a team of 8 talented Human Factor Engineers and AEW&C operators. The team work on projects both within and outside their own organization, for multiple Business Units.

Your role will be a blend of operational leadership, strategic planning, and personnel development. You'll work closely with your team to address their long-term growth needs and daily operational challenges, fostering an inclusive environment where every voice matters. You are also part of the System Design management team, where you will contribute to strategic planning, address common personnel issues, and support collaboration between the groups.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and inspire a team of knowledgeable and driven professionals

  • Develop and implement strategies that drive the group's success

  • Collaborate with the System Design management team to enhance participation and synergies

  • Build and maintain a broad network within Saab to support other parts of the organisation

  • Balance strategic thinking with operational actions to achieve outstanding results

Your profile

We're seeking a motivated, committed, and responsible individual who enjoy working in teams. You should have a solid background in leadership and a passion for coaching and developing others. Your technical expertise in Human Factors and/or AEW&C Operator domains, combined with your Systems Engineering approach, will be invaluable. To support Saab's transformation, we also need leaders who are adept at managing change.

We also like you to have:

  • Proven leadership experience and a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Good knowledge of Human Factors and/or AEW&C Operator domain

  • Ability to think strategically and act operationally

  • Strong business acumen and a customer-focused mindset

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes

  • A drive for creativity and generating energy within the team

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
