Your Role

We’re seeking a highly motivated and curious Junior Financial Analyst to join our Global Business Control Team to work in our “CFO office” with management reporting to group management team and board. This role offers a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to develop strong financial analysis skills while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be part of a close-knit team where you can learn from experienced colleagues and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow into the role.

You will contribute to analysis and reporting of financial across Saab, while engaging with a wide range of internal partners. This position is well suited for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with data, and is motivated by continuous improvement and teamwork.

As a Junior Financial Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of models for strategic and financial analysis and simulation.
  • Conduct analysis of financial results, forecasts, and business plans across Saab’s Group, business areas, and market areas.
  • Helping to identify improvements to support business goals
  • Participating in internal and external benchmarking activities.
  • Preparing structured reports and presentations that communicate findings and insights.
  • Supporting the monthly closing process, as well as contributing to forecasting and business planning activities.

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills, combined with a genuine interest in financial analysis and business development. You are proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn. You enjoy working in a team-oriented environment where you can contribute your ideas and develop at your own pace.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A master degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in financial analysis and the ambition to grow and develop within the area.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with financial systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in both English and Swedish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A curiosity for understanding the business and an ability to communicate insights in a clear and supportive way.

Considered an advantage:

  • Internship, part-time, or student organization experience that has provided practical insight into finance, analysis, teamwork, or business development.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
