Your role

In this role, you will lead an acceleration team within Common Tech, consisting of software developers who work closely with our business areas in developing SAAB wide modules and products. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure that your team’s initiatives deliver real value to the business.

You are responsible for providing structure, clarity and direction in ongoing projects, creating the conditions for your team to succeed. The work involves close collaboration with leaders and colleagues across the organisation, and your leadership will be key to maintaining progress and alignment.

As line manager, you have overall responsibility for the team and its operations. This includes leading and coaching team members to build engagement, development and performance, as well as managing all personnel-related matters such as recruitment, onboarding, competence development, budgeting and financial follow-up.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a strategic mindset who can also bring structure and clarity to complex work, and who is an inclusive and supportive leader, able to balance strategic and operational perspectives while fostering collaboration and development within their team.

The key requirements for this role include:

  • Proven experience leading technically complex or software-intensive projects.
  • Understanding of industrial system development processes.
  • Experience in leading and coaching teams to achieve engagement, development, and results.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to maintain structure and progress in projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
