Your role
As Manager for Mechanics within Engineering, you will take a key leadership role in shaping our mechanical engineering capabilities. Your main responsibilities include driving competence development, managing resources, and leading a dedicated team of engineers.
You will be responsible for process management as well as methods and tools for mechanics-related work, ensuring smooth project adaptations and continuous improvements in ways of working and cost efficiency. Collaboration will be central, and you will work closely with other hardware teams within Engineering to achieve common goals.
The unit consists of around 15 highly skilled employees, and you will play a crucial part in their development and engagement. You will report to the Head of Hardware Engineering and be an active member of the Engineering Management Team.

To thrive in this role, you have:
Relevant professional or postgraduate qualification in a technical discipline.
A proven track record of combining strategic thinking with operational execution.
Experience and passion for leading, developing, and challenging teams and organizations.
You have a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
