Your role
We are looking for a Manager of Export Sales to join the Marketing & Sales team at the Digital Battlespace Solutions Business Unit.
As Manager of Export Sales, you will lead our export efforts and manage a dedicated team to secure our short- and medium-term sales objectives. Your responsibilities include:
- Strengthening the export sales of the BU Digital Battlespace Solutions product portfolio over time. You will grow our strong market position by developing and refining business strategies and models tailored to your region.
- Driving revenue growth and profitability. You will be responsible for achieving the BU’s sales targets and maximizing revenue across your assigned markets.
- Developing and implementing export sales strategies. This includes defining the overall sales approach, setting targets, and creating actionable plans to meet them.
- Identifying and establishing partnerships, including offset strategies, local initiatives, or operations that support ongoing campaigns and future sales opportunities in your region.
- Leading and supporting a small and high-performing export sales team, ensuring focus, alignment, and continued development of team capabilities.
The role requires close cooperation with our internal sales teams, Group Marketing & Sales, Operational Countries, as well as external organizations such as NATO and the European Defence Agency. Your goal is to strengthen the market position of BU Digital Battlespace Solutions and ensure Saab is seen as the preferred supplier.
You are also expected to be an active member of the Marketing & Sales Management team, contributing beyond your own area of responsibility to joint strategic initiatives and shared business challenges.

We value the following traits and experience:
- Proven experience in a leadership role with a track record of building, motivating, and developing teams.
- Long experience in international sales and business development and a deep understanding of building and maintaining long-term relationships with an international customer base both B2B and B2G.
- Strong business and financial understanding combined with a solid technical interest, supported by relevant education.
- Demonstrated ability to empower people both internally and externally and to create a performance-driven culture.
- The ability to organize, prioritize, delegate, and build strong cross-functional relationships within a matrix and international environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English; additional languages are a merit.
- Curiosity and adaptability to learn and thrive in diverse cultures and environments.
Merit:
- Experience from areas relevant to the business, such as International Sales & Marketing, Strategy, Offset, or Product Development etc., is a strong advantage.
You will report to the Head of M&S and BD within Business Unit Digital Battlespace Solutions. You will be located in Solna Strand and we expect you to travel in this role, since our market is global and the organization is located in different sites.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
