As the Site Manager in Slavkov, you will play a central role in driving the strategic growth and success of Saab Slavkov. This role is crucial in overseeing the operations, profitability, and long-term sustainability of the business in the region. Equally, it is of essence to align and integrate the operation with the wider Saab organization, culture and ways of working.
Delivering training value with advanced training systems in a new reality places high expectations on our business managers. You will lead the way in establishing innovative work processes, be actively involved to encourage a motivated end ensuring a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in order to reach high performance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for improving work processes and establishing a highly motivated organization.
- Drive professional development initiatives, encouraging a culture of growth, continuous learning, and alignment with Saab's core values.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of the virtual portfolio, ensuring delivery that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Focusing on both strategic growth and operational excellence.
- Represent Saab Training and Simulation in both internal and external forums, acting as an ambassador for the Business Unit
- Take ownership of budget planning, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring operational profitability
- Maintain a people first focus with a strong emphasis on company values and culture
In this role you will be part of the management team at Business Unit Training and Simulation and report directly to the Head of the Business Unit for Training and Simulation.
Your profile
We are looking for a senior leader with proven experience in managing operations, ideally in a complex, international business environment. You have been in senior management positions for a number of years and you are a confident decision maker.
You take responsibility for your own work and you understand how your part contributes to the greater good.
- Strong leadership skills, with a focus on driving innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both within and outside of Saab
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget planning and performance monitoring
- Comfortable representing the company at high-level forums and with senior leadership
- The ability to prioritize with a strategic focus
You have excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written, and you are trustworthy with high standards of ethics and personal integrity.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
