Your role
We see a rapid increase of interest in our solutions on the market. In order to meet the demand, we need to further sharpen our ability to market and sell our solution to reach our long term order intake plan. Therefore, we are looking for a talented Marketing and Sales Manager who will lead our sales team. The unit work closely with Senior Management, other Business Areas within Saab, Strategic Suppliers as well as Group Marketing and Sales. In this role you will develop our team, our offer and Saabs position on the market.
If you are a great leader, with passion for people and business, this is a position for you. You will play an important part in developing our product offer towards our existing customer, but also oversee business development, sales support, event coordination and communication. In order to be successful, it is important that you have a strong people leadership background with track record of making people and teams grow and excel. This is a unique position and will play a vital part in our growth ambitions.
Your profile
We are looking for a Marketing and Sales Manager who is a strong leader and have a solid understanding of the marketing and sales process. Preferable you have a deep understanding of the defense domain, but even more importantly is your track record of developing teams and understanding customer requirements.
In our group, all members contribute with their individual experiences and skills to create an effective and dynamic environment. You are expected not only to work with your individual area of responsibility, being a member of the team also means that you interact and take part in other activities and tasks within the unit. We also belive that you have:
- Experience from working in an external facing role and towards management
- Excellent presenting and communication skills
- Since you mainly will engage international customers and partners, English skills in a business environment both orally and in writing is mandatory. It is also preferable with Swedish skills.
- Travel, both nationally and internationally, will be required
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
