Background
GNSS-jamming and spoofing is a known and increasing problem in society.
There are a diversity of techniques to handle this problem documented in research papers and literature.
Description of the master thesis
The primary goal is to evaluate a combination of suppression techniques with a jammed/spoofed GNSS-scenario simulator, based on third-party tools (like Matlab Satellite Communication toolbox, Phased Array System toolbox and other).
The most promising spoofing suppression techniques are a combination of multi-channel receiving, direction of arrival, pulse compression and other dedicated signal processing.
The secondary goals may be to implement the most effective techniques on inhouse real-time hardware and open-source software (i.e. GNSS-SDR or FGI-GSRx). This secondary goal is meant to be done in follow-up work or for a two person team.
Your profile
This master of science thesis is suitable for one or two student, with good knowledge in general digital signal processing, programming (Matlab or Python).
