0.6 FTE
The role
As part of our Finance & Admin group, the Payroll Officer will be responsible for providing support to the Payroll Manager on a 0.6 FTE basis.
Further, the successful candidate will provide on-time and accurate delivery of:
- Administer end-to-end fortnightly payroll Employee and Resource maintenance
- Timesheet maintenance and transfers
- Leave balance reconciliations
- Modern Award reconciliation and calculations
- Internal controls relating to payroll function
- General Ledger account reconciliation for payroll clearing accounts
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and part time will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- Previous experience as a Payroll Officer
- Intermediate level skill/experience in the use of Excel
- Understanding of Fair Work Australia Modern Awards
- Able to analyse and communicate financial information
- Pro-active, service orientated work style
- Effective contributor to a small team environment
