As a People Analytics Specialist you will sit at the intersection of people, data, strategy, and tech - helping us understand what drives performance, growth, and engagement at Saab. You will be a central connector in the organization, building strong relationships, transforming and translating complex patterns into clear stories, and shaping the decisions that guide Saab’s future. Key responsibilities:

  • Transform data into stories - using Workday as our main source of people data you will collect, transform, and clean data into engaging and impactful visuals that help leaders, HR and stakeholders see what's happening and why
  • Continuously enhance workforce planning analytics capabilities - act as an advisor to workforce planning processes, consult the business on refining and developing planning data models, and transform plans into visuals or dashboards that can be used to advise the business on strategic decisions
  • Be part of something bigger - collaborate with and actively take part in discussions across the business and across functions to understand and advise where data and analytics plays its part
  • Build people analytics capability and maturity - help elevate data literacy across HR, enabling teams to ask better questions and make more informed decisions
  • Predict the future of work - using forecasting and modelling to uncover trends in talent acquisition, talent development, growth, and other people data domains
  • Champion data integrity - ensure our people data is reliable and compliant, and used in ways that respect privacy
  • Experiment and innovate - explore new tools and techniques, support our vision of enabling predictive and prescriptive analytics that support strategic business decisions
  • Global responsibility - deliver our global annual, quarterly and monthly reports and KPI's, and ensure everything we do is scalable and accessible from a global perspective

Your Profile

  • Considerable (3+) years of experience in people analytics, ideally within a fast-moving or global organization
  • A strong grasp on HR processes in a system setting (Workday) and comprehensive understanding of how people data flows through the employee lifecycle
  • Strong technical skills in data transformation, analysis and visualisation (Workday Prism preferred, or Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, SQL) as well as advanced experience in Excel
  • The ability to translate data into clear and meaningful (and visual) insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills, in both English and Swedish, with the ability to tell a story that inspires action
  • Workforce Planning analytics experience
  • Curiosity, creativity, self-starter and a growth mindset: you love learning new methods, exploring data, and challenging the status-quo, whilst ensuring efficiency stays top-of-mind
  • Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive people data

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with analytical and machine-learning concepts relevant to people analytics and the ability to communicate these to data engineers to support advanced capability development
  • Exposure to emerging people analytics trends such as AI, real-time insights, skills-based workforce planning and analytics
  • Experience with or understanding of combining financial data with workforce data, and how they together contribute to wider workforce analytics capabilities and business insights that drive decisions
  • Change management or enablement experience, helping others become more data-savvy
  • ESRS (Own Workforce) reporting knowledge or experience

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
