Your role

As People Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, you will operate at the heart of Saab’s most important asset – our people. You will lead Saab’s work enabling engaged employees and drive our diversity and inclusion strategy.  You will connect our business and people strategy to execution in your areas and work closely with all of our businesses and countries to accelerate change. You will focus on futureproofing our people and help them stay engaged. You will lead our work in ensuring a workplace characterized by diversity and an inclusive culture where everyone feels welcomed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute Saab’s employee engagement and diversity & inclusion strategies and processes
  • Work in close collaboration with senior leaders, HR teams, and employee networks to embed inclusive practices and deliver on the engagement and D&I agenda
  • Provide advice and support to teams on inclusion and engagement matters
  • Lead key employee engagement activities, including the use and development of our engagement tool
  • Use data and insights to guide decisions, monitor progress, and accelerate change
  • Facilitate dialogue and learning around inclusive culture and workplace wellbeing
  • Enable frontlines to strengthen engagement and inclusive leadership
  • Ensure our work in engagement and D&I aligns with and contributes to Saab’s sustainability goals

You profile

We’re looking for someone with a strong business acumen who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You are results-driven and enjoy balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You bring proven experience in employee engagement and diversity & inclusion, and have a natural ability to turn insights into action, driving both cultural and organisational progress.

You’re energetic, self-motivated, and eager to grow, with a passion for innovation and creating new solutions that make a difference. You thrive on working independently but also enjoy collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve impactful results.

Requirements:

  • A relevant academic background, preferably in Business or a related field
  • Previous experience in roles focused on Employee Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, or Talent Management
  • Experience driving employee engagement through the use of digital tools and targeted strategies
  • A minimum of five years’ proven experience within the HR field
  • Experience working in a global and matrixed organisational structure
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
