Product Sales Responsible

We are building a world class shipyard! Want to contribute to the success of the business? Saab Kockums is looking for a driven Product Sales Responsible with office location in Karlskrona.

Your role

As Product Sales Responsible you will work with various business opportunities, meeting customers and lead smaller bid teams. The role also includes leading and coordinating the required activities within Saab’s Winning Business process. Up to 100 travel days, domestic and international, are part of the job.

 
You will report to Head of Marketing & Sales, a manager with long international experience. The expectations on delivery are high as well as our trust in you and your willingness to perform at your best!  In addition to above, the main tasks consists of:

  • Work as Product Sales Responsible with selected business prospects to achieve Order Intake & Gross Margin targets

  • Work together with Customer Sales Responsible in Saab’s global M&S organization from early business development until contract signing

  • Plan and execute meetings with customers, users, partners, Government officials and other stakeholders both at international and national level

  • Work closely with Bid Office and other functions in Kockums and Saab group functions

  • Report weekly on progress for the business cases

  • Participate in exhibitions and other marketing activities

  • Manage customer delegation visits

Your profile

You shall have a strong drive to close business and always strive to exceed expectations. We are looking for you with former successful experience in international marketing & sales in similar positions. You must possess a high level of cultural sensitivity. It is essential that you are a team player and an excellent communicator. You will meet customer representatives at various levels but also connect with people in Saab worldwide organization.

It is an advantage to have an understanding of Saab processes and tools, products and organization. The product focus for this role will be Business Unit Surface product portfolio and services, combined with ability to work with technical experts to identify solutions to meet customers' needs and requirements.

Required skills:

  • Documented working experience in international Marketing & Sales

  • Good understanding and experience in managing and executing new business opportunities

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Engineering and/or ex Armed Forces Officer.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, verbal and written

  • Driving License

Other desirable skills regarded as a merit:

  • Project Management or similar experiences of leadership in an international environment.

  • Other language skills than Swedish and English and earlier experiences of working in various cultural and international contexts.  

  • Good understanding of Business Unit Surface products and services, combined with the ability to work with technical experts.

Please note that office location for this job is Karlskrona why you need to be able to work from here in your daily work as well as be present at the office in Malmö when needed.
