About us

Business Unit Training and Simulation develops and manufactures training systems mainly for military users. Our offer is wide ranging and includes the provision of world leading laser simulators for live training, force on target applications, virtual simulation capabilities and training services. Training and SImulation operates globally with 450 employeess in 12 different countries. In the Czech republic we have a plant with 90 employees.

Important for us is the focus on delivering results, the team placer and the ability to manage the team in Slavko and at the same time be the partner for the Swedish team.

Job content

  • plans and manages a variety of larger and smaller global projects (HW and SW) with respect to their financial, time and HR costs
  • responsible for the defined project from entry to implementation and delivery to the end customer
  • manages project changes
  • proactively manages risks, solves problems, takesk responsibility for meeting budget and projerct milestones
  • leads project team across different departments (both in Czech republic and cooperation with Swedish team)
  • monitors and reports on project status, ensures corrective actions within the agreed plan
  • communicates directly with the customer
  • processes and distributes project documentation

    Your skills and experience

    • at least 2 years of experience as s project manager
    • ability to lead a project team (communication with different types of personalities, at different levels of management, take personal responsibility, clearly define goals, expectations, provide feedback)
    • think in a broader context
    • ability to work in an international team and follow cultural differences when dealing with customers
    • communicative level of English and Czech
    • experience with the use of ERP systems
    • willingness to learn new things
    • university/high school education rather technical (basic orientation in engineering or software is an advantage)
    • Experience from the corporate environment will be an advantage
    • works with IFS system
    • evaluates projects and transfers the experience gained to other projects
    • provides support for the sales team n terms of pricing and proposal
