We currently have a vacancy for Quality Management Officer who will be responsible for assuring implementation of Quality Assurance Principles during design & development, production and after sales support phases and ensure that customer quality requirements are adhered to.
Your role:
- Evaluating and processing product changes – industrial process control.
- Continual improvement planning, implementation, and monitoring.
- Provide technical support in the PFMEA process.
- Establishing root causes and implement corrective actions for allocated quality problems.
- Interfacing with various departments within the company in resolving Quality Issues.
- Co-ordinate and be accountable for Production and Engineering Quality Issues.
- Technical support to Production and Quality Control.
- Monitor and reporting of non-conformances and processes and initiating corrective actions to drive early detection and trend analysis.
- Ensure that the FRACAS process is followed.
- Analyse data and correlate quality defects across various non-conformance tools/platforms.
- Contribute to design of sampling methodologies for inspection.
- Help to design, development, and implementation of quality aerospace standards for products.
- Development and acceptance of processes and products against prescribed standards [process qualification].
- Support Production Engineering in verification and qualification of product and process approval.
- Assist in assessing the competence level and training requirements of the production personnel.
- Involved in document change approval request for product data pack approval.
- Total quality production planning documentation preparation on new projects.
- Liaising with engineering and production with regard to build / quality matters.
- Present findings / reports at various forums and management structures.
- Assure that activities during production are performed in compliance with the quality management system.
- Support Production process yields (First Time Pass Yield) & reduction in Cost of Poor Quality.
Your profile:
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Be able to perform visual inspections of Electronics Components, PBAs and Electro Mechanical assemblies.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and Quality Tools e.g. Fish-bone, 8D, FMEA, SPC, DOE & Lean/Six Sigma
- Interpreting measuring reports and technical drawings and understanding of assembly engineering instructions
- Sound knowledge of Design & Manufacturing processes advantageous
- Experience in Engineering Defence Industry / Electronic Industry
- Analytically minded with the ability and inclination to work accurately with databases
- System based data extraction, interpretation and analysis
- Knowledge of MRP / ERP systems
- APQP | PPAP | FMEA
Experience Required:
- Have at least 5+ years’ experience within Military/Defence manufacturing industry
Competencies:
- Sound knowledge of J-STD-001, IPC_600/610/620 & IPC-7711/7721 standards.
- Sound Knowledge of FRACAS Process (NCRs & MRB Cases).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competency in Manual Visual Inspection Techniques.
- Be able to Operate Automated Optical Inspection and X-Ray machines.

Qualification:
