Job Description:

The Saab Inc. Talent Acquisition team is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Recruiter with a passion for delivering a strong candidate and hiring manager experience. As part of our growing HR organization, this role will support hiring across the organization, contributing to Saab’s mission of keeping people and society safe. Working closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners, the recruiter will help identify workforce needs, manage core recruiting activities, and deliver high-quality talent aligned to Saab’s growth goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational recruiting or HR experience who is eager to develop in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

  • Partner with hiring teams to support sourcing strategies, assessment approaches, and candidate selection.

  • Identify and engage passive candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases, and Boolean searches.

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through market research and outreach efforts.

  • Track and report on key sourcing metrics and funnel performance to support continuous improvement.

  • Review resumes and conduct initial screenings to assess candidate fit based on role requirements and team needs.

  • Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling logistics with hiring managers and interview panels.

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate information within Workday.

  • Assist with recruiting events and team initiatives that support broader hiring goals and employer branding efforts.


Compensation Range: 70,200 - 87,800

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or a related HR support role

  • Proven success engaging and closing passive candidates

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred) and recruitment tools

  • Experience supporting hiring managers and working with compensation data

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and influence cross-functional teams effectively

  • Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Preferred:

  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (Workday strongly preferred)

  • Knowledge of Boolean search techniques and passive sourcing strategies

  • Experience supporting recruiting for technical or cleared roles

  • Familiarity with compensation basics and offer process

  • Exposure to recruitment events, employer branding, or campus outreach

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
